Sambando has been bringing high volume, high energy samba rhythms to community events in Leicester and the surrounding area, for the last 14years. Our regular appearances include Leicester Caribbean Carnival, Leicester Marathon, and Skyride. We were pleased to be asked to kick off the One Leicester celebrations and play in the opening ceremony for the Special Olympics when they were hosted by Leicester. We encourage new members and recruit through beginners workshops held in our rehearsal space at Leicester University.
